Forever flawless- The $7000 Ruby and Diamond Facial

When news broke in Forbes magazine last year that  the incredibly beautiful and talented Actress Mila  Kunis had just spent a whopping $7000 on a Ruby and Diamond infused face peel, my jaw along with millions of others could be heard dropping from withering heights dramatically.

The first thing I thought was, who in their right mind can justify spending money like that ? then Curiously toyed with the thought, what would I spend money on if I had it available? Have I been wasting my money on these supermarket labels when all I needed was some diamonds? Ha! There that aught to solve all my life dilemmas! I'll take a new Hermes Birken with them too!  Either way even though I had heard of the positive powerful effects that precious Gems stones had, surely they weren't putting them in lotion bottles ?I had to know more.

On Tuesday  the 12th of August I was on my daily commute about to hail a cab on the drisley streets Of the CBD - when a bright iridescent glow catches the corner of my eye, the windows are ceiling to floor, with lavish chandeliers dripping from the canopy above, tall tan Ipanema type men and women swoon around the swanky store, above the words on the door state "Forever Flawless".

As I voluntarily stepped off the curb to look a little closer it finally clicked in my mind, The  unthinkable had happened. Some how this opulent all time American skin care  range had founds it's self a new home amongst the other cool "rich" kids on the block, neatly on George st. Sydney.

I walked in to be greeted by a soft spoken honey toned Indian Woman named Dhiya, she sat me down on a plush leather stool and took my hand, the cream she used was apart of their "white Diamond" range which uses  microbrasive technology to remove dead skin.

Afterwards the manager Fernando a stylish looking modelesque showed me around, they had specialist rooms where a anaesthetists can apply treatments to the desired ares, he told me that Celine Dion is one of their biggest customers her product of choice was the 'Diamond infused SnakeVenom ,correcting cream' retailing for a not so subtle $1,499 Au, but considering the dewy endlessly youthful looks Celine has graced us with since 'my heart will go on' seems as though her teenage years are too.

Fernando gave me three products to use, he said he doesn't need to convince me the results speak for themselves, I couldn't agree more. Personally I have have dry skin with redness that appears on my cheeks and nose during winter I used the 'white Diamond' microbrasive skin peel last night, and already after one use- my skin is tighter and brighter- and it retails for $107.au.

My over all experience right from the moment I laid eyes on the affluent establishment was superb, the service  was immaculate and the way my skin felt when I left the store, right up until now  While in in my P&A PJs eating coconut crisps in bed.
I was very sceptical towards this brand initially, fearing 1- it was a scam, I mean how come I hadn't heard much about them? and why where the salesmen so charming? 2- how could diamonds help your skin? is this just a rich mans game?

Content with their conquest of my opinions,  The sales staff where charming because they truly believed in the quality and benefits of the product they where selling, (oh and most of them where also just slinky little Louis Vuitton wearing Colombians too). Also after doing my own research studies and reports all over the Net show that there really are increasing   benefits in the use of diamonds and almost  all precious  Gems, There is mounting scientific evidence that associates diamonds with health benefits and improved well-being. Diamonds have a positive influence on various organs of the body. Diamonds reduce fever, fight infections, invigorate metabolism, rejuvenate blood circulation, and help with many skin disorders. Moreover, in alternative medicine, diamonds are known for strengthening all the energy centres of the human body.

I can genuinely say that  I was extremely impressed by this company, I would recommend this product to anyone who has ever battled with image issues with their skin or suffered from Rosacea (like myself) or any kind of scaring- my face feels brand new, not saying I'll be getting the thousand dollars plus treatments  anytime soon! but if someone body offered me a free viper and Ruby skin peel well,  I couldn't be happier.

Tomorrow night I will be attending the 'Forever Flawless' media launch party, stay tuned for the follow up story on who I'll meet and which crazy A-lister bids on the $4000 Platinum and gold serum .
