Sports Luxe

Sports Luxe In a trend that only less than a decade ago was considered the epiphany of bad taste, this season’s Autumn/winter trend is rebelliously not for everybody, many deeming the look ‘hypercritical’ others ‘Très chic’ Introducing- SPORTS LUXE At last a style where wearing your comfy old ’09 Kamakaji Reeboks Vs. Your new Marl grey ZARA coat, doesn’t mean choosing between that PT session you’ve been dodging or the Lunch date with you’ve oversharing/baring coworker - now you can avoid both scenarios by literally sporting each style at once. Team Trainers with a Coat, Even Add a pair of pastel sweats and you’ve got this God sent trend covered, Forget about worrying that you’ll actually look more be looking more straight off the ‘park bench’ rather than ‘runway’, this look screams Haute Couture! and it isn’t just the fashion bloggers who think so either. Fashion Sovereign and head designer for Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld presented an impressive Fall/Winter collection where he blends the iconic fashion houses Classic tweed coats with hues of Pastels, earthy stones and maroons paired with trainers to complete the latest look. Just to be clear, Sports Luxe doesn’t mean wearing your foulest old gym gear or the reeking old runners you keep in a plastic bag in the boot of your car, No, Sports Lux may appear to be seemingly effortless, but just like the “just out of bed hair” fashions or the “all natural” Makeup looks you can’t literally just wake up bare faced and anticipate to look like Cara Delevigne’s better looking cousin in a tracksuit, this look entails as much attention and finesse as any other trend. For inspiration my website of choice is ‘MatchesFashion’ and of course directly to the source itself, Chanel.
